You’ll see the word ‘Montessori’ used in many different ways. For us, it’s a commitment: we adhere to AMI Montessori principles and are guided by professionally trained educators committed to the highest standards, so your child experiences Montessori as it was intended. This means families can feel confident in the integrity and consistency of the programme we offer and our students become self-reliant, intellectually curious, confident individuals, fully equipped for the adventure of life.
We are privileged to be working in an area of great diversity where families have gathered from all over the globe. At Monti&Me we celebrate the cultures and traditions of all those in our community through the celebration of festivals from around the world as well as those celebrated in the UK. The broad curriculum of the Montessori method gives children a rich understanding of the world in which we live and a global minded outlook.
Maria Montessori believed strongly in helping children understand their responsibility to care for, understand and protect the world in which we live. With the many environmental challenges we face today and those which our children will face in adulthood, it is more important than ever for our children to have a deep understanding of the planet; sustainability and ecology are at the heart of everything we do.
Whilst helping the children to grow and discover their talents and interests through daily work, we try to keep in mind the image of our students as adults who are lifelong learners; people who know deeply what they want and have the inner resources to pursue their goals; leaders who not only want to contribute to the world around them but who have the skills they need to do so in exceptional ways.
